What's New

A Note from Sam Mayer

Many thanks to the APA for their assistance in this project, and our web development team at Netsam for their many hours of work and their patience during the many hours of meetings they participated in with us. Also, thanks to former Grey Eagle Secretary Gary Yudell, Treasurer Steve Brooks and our Webmaster Dale Johnson for all their help in creating a state-of-the-art website. We hope you appreciate the new website, and please send me any feedback you have for improvements or glitches you discover. We have done extensive beta-testing, but I’m sure we missed a few things. My email address is sammayer@earthlink.net.

While this is a public website, the member lookup function and the Activity Feed (formerly known as “The Forum” will be password protected to protect your privacy. Also, member lookups are limited to 50 per day to prevent spamming. Initially, all passwords have been deleted. When you attempt to login, you will be directed to an “Apply Online” page. Please fill out the form, and once your identity has been validated by one of our web administrators, you will be notified by email to reset your password, and then will have full access to the members only side of the site.

Also, our new website will give each member the ability to manage their own personal information, to include updating your address, phone number, and email address. You will also be able to upload a photo that will be displayed along with your name to appear during member lookups. Once you have been granted access to the private side of the site, to change any of that information, please click on your picture, or the picture icon to bring up the screen to change your personal information or to upload a photo. Clicking on the photo or photo icon will also give you the opportunity to participate in the “Activity Feed.”

Obviously there will be growing pains for the new website during the changeover. Again, please be patient, and provide us with any feedback on what we might do better. I am looking forward to hearing from you, and meeting with you at Grey Eagle events around the country. Thanks again.
