Each new year the 1st VP and 2nd VP advance one position leaving one open position for a new person to join the board as 2nd VP and the advancing 1st VP becomes President. The other board positions are open for the present occupant to continue those duties or retire from the board. Governance is set forth in the Bylaws and Policy Manual which are published under the REFERENCE/GREY EAGLE DOCUMENTS TAB. Any member interested in any position or assisting is welcome to make their desires know to any present board member. Your participation is important for the growth and sustainability of The Grey Eagles.

Grey Eagles,

The wait is over — registration for the Grey Eagles 2026 Savannah Convention/Reunion is now OPEN!

We have been working hard to put together a great week in Savannah, and I think you will find that we have something for everyone — aviation, history, sightseeing, great food, friendship, and plenty of time to enjoy Savannah on your own.

November 3–8, 2026 • Savannah, Georgia

Our schedule includes some terrific experiences, including the FlightSafety International Gulfstream Training Center, Old Savannah Distillery, Savannah’s historic riverfront, the American Prohibition Museum, the Ghost Town Trolley Tour, the Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, our Welcome Reception, Grey Eagles Night, and much more.

If you have not yet booked your hotel room, please do so NOW.

We have only a limited number of rooms remaining in the Grey Eagles room block at The DeSoto Hotel. I strongly encourage you to make your reservation as soon as possible. Once our remaining rooms are gone, you will need to make other hotel arrangements.

To reserve a room in the Grey Eagles block, contact The DeSoto Hotel directly at 855-703-4655. Be sure to identify yourself as a Grey Eagles member and ask for the Grey Eagles rate.

Please do not wait to make your hotel reservation until you complete your reunion registration. Hotel reservations and reunion registration are separate.

PLEASE READ THE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING YOUR REGISTRATION.

The registration form contains several important instructions about how to complete and save your registration. Taking a few minutes to read the instructions first will make the registration process much easier and help prevent you from losing information or having to start over.

Do not begin filling out the registration form until you have read the registration instructions.

We have designed the registration process to allow you to review the activities, select the events you and your guest want to attend, and provide the information we need to complete your registration.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you in Savannah this November. It promises to be a great Grey Eagles reunion, and we don't want you to miss it!

Savannah Trolley Signup

Before you choose, please keep in mind:

▸ Dinner timing. If you're on the Riverboat & Prohibition Museum tour that day, you'll be back at the hotel at 5:00 PM — pick a trolley that leaves you the dinner time you want.

▸ Your assigned trolley is your trolley. Every departure is reserved to its exact count, and the tour also sells to the public. If you miss your time, there may be no seat on a later trolley — and no way to join the tour that night. Treat it like a flight: show up early, board your own.

▸ Walkers welcome — wheelchairs, unfortunately, not. Folding walkers ride free with a storage spot at the front of the trolley, and there are sturdy handrails aboard. The trolley company cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this route; we're sorry — that limitation is theirs, not ours.

▸ First come, fairly served. We'll do everything we can to give every party its first choice. If a trolley oversubscribes, seats are assigned in the order registrations were paid — the same fair rule we use for everything.

Welcome to the Grey Eagles 2026 Savannah Reunion

On behalf of the Grey Eagles Board of Directors and our Savannah Reunion Committee, welcome! We are delighted that you're planning to join us for what promises to be a memorable week of friendship, aviation, history, and Southern hospitality.

Whether this is your first Grey Eagles reunion or one of many, we have planned a variety of activities designed to appeal to a wide range of interests. From behind-the-scenes aviation experiences and historic landmarks to scenic river cruises, outstanding dining, and opportunities to simply enjoy Savannah at your own pace, we hope you'll find something special in every day of the reunion.

This Events Guide has been prepared to help you learn about each activity before completing your online registration. We encourage you to read through the guide first, discuss your plans with your guest, and then complete your registration using the online registration form.

Our Reunion Committee has worked hard to create an enjoyable experience for everyone, and we look forward to welcoming you to Savannah this November.

Before You Register

To make your registration experience as smooth as possible, we recommend reviewing this guide before opening the online registration form.

Important

At the bottom of the online registration form are two buttons: Submit and Save and Continue.

If you leave the registration form without clicking one of these buttons, all information you entered will be lost and you will need to begin your registration again.

If you select Save and Continue, you'll receive an email with a link to your partially completed registration.

Your registration is not complete until you click Submit.

Before beginning your registration, we recommend scrolling to the bottom of the registration form so you become familiar with these buttons.

Registration Tips

Review each activity description before beginning your registration.
Some activities have limited capacity and will be filled on a first-registered basis.
Unless otherwise noted, activity prices include applicable taxes and gratuities.
Exception: Gratuities for Old Town Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley conductors and museum docents are not included and are left to your discretion.
Selecting Golf on the registration form simply indicates your interest in participating. Your golf fee is not charged as part of your reunion registration and will be collected separately by Golf Coordinator Jay Cooley.
Tables will be assigned for the Farewell Banquet. If you would like to be seated with friends who are not included on your registration form, please indicate their names in the Remarks section.

Old Town Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley

Activity Price: $70 per person

One of the best ways to experience Savannah is aboard the famous Old Town Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley. Your two-day pass gives you the freedom to explore Savannah’s Historic District at your own pace, hopping off whenever you want to visit a favorite attraction, historic square, museum, shop, restaurant, or other point of interest.

Your pass is valid for any two days and does not have to be used on consecutive days. You may use it before, during, or after the reunion, making it an especially convenient way to explore Savannah around your other reunion activities.

What You’ll Experience

Unlimited hop-on, hop-off privileges for two days.
A fully narrated tour highlighting Savannah’s Historic District.
Sixteen convenient stops at popular attractions throughout the city.
The freedom to explore Savannah at your own pace and spend as much time as you wish at the places that interest you most.
Convenient transportation throughout the Historic District, making it easy to see more of Savannah without having to drive or find parking.

Whether you’re visiting Savannah for the first time or returning to rediscover some favorite places, the Old Town Trolley is an easy and enjoyable way to see the city.

FlightSafety International & Old Savannah Distillery

Registration Required

Activity Price: $85 per person

Enjoy an exclusive tour of FlightSafety International's Gulfstream Training Center followed by a Southern-inspired luncheon at Old Savannah Distillery.

Before You Register

Activity price includes applicable taxes and gratuities.
Optional spirits tasting available for an additional charge.
Moderate walking and a few stairs.
Participation is limited to 76 guests.

Savannah Distillery Lunch Only! 12:30P-2:00P

The Savannah Distillery located less than a ½ mile from our hotel, is a short 15-minute walk. For those that wish to meet us there after we do the Gulfstream FlightSafety Training Center Tour, you may join us for lunch and if you choose, a Spirits Tasting experience! Lunch only does not include transportation. It does include the Savannah Distillery Lunch experience and optional spirits tasting. Lunch only is $30 and the menu includes their homemade cornbread and a choice of either their Caesar Salad, Grilled Chicken Salad, Blackened Chicken Sandwich, or Patty Melt and non-alcoholic beverages, including tax, and gratuity.

Ladies’ Champagne Luncheon

Activity Price: $75 per person

Take a break from the reunion schedule and enjoy a relaxing Ladies’ Champagne Luncheon with fellow spouses and guests while the General Membership Meeting is in session. This is an opportunity to enjoy good food, conversation, and a little time together in a relaxed setting while the members attend to Grey Eagles business.

The luncheon is designed to be an enjoyable mid-day gathering where you can catch up with friends, meet other Grey Eagles spouses and guests, and share in the Savannah experience together. So sit back, raise a glass, and enjoy some well-deserved time with friends.

Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum & Grey Eagles Night

Registration Required

Activity Price: $125 per person (Museum & Dinner) or $115 per person (Dinner Only)

Explore Savannah Your Way

Included

Not every moment of the reunion needs to be scheduled. We’ve intentionally built free time into the reunion schedule so you can enjoy Savannah at your own pace and choose what interests you most.

Use your Old Town Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley pass to explore the Historic District, browse the shops, discover historic squares and landmarks, enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner, or simply wander the beautiful streets of Savannah. Whether you want to explore, shop, dine, sightsee, or just relax, this is your time to enjoy Savannah your way.

Before You Register

No registration is required.
Your trolley pass is valid on any two days and does not need to be used on consecutive days.
The reunion schedule intentionally provides free time on arrival day and Saturday to make it easy to use your trolley pass and explore Savannah.

Crosswinds Golf Club

Registration Required

Activity Price: $85 per golfer

Golf is available Saturday, Sunday, or both days. Tee times are expected to begin around 11:00 a.m.

Before You Register

Club rentals are available for an additional charge.
Selecting Golf on the registration form simply indicates your interest in participating. Your golf fee is not charged as part of your reunion registration and will be collected separately by Golf Coordinator Jay Cooley.
Jay Cooley will coordinate pairings, payment, and transportation.

Registration Required

Activity Price: $85 per golfer

For those who would like to get out on the course during the reunion, golf will be available at Crosswinds Golf Club on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. Tee times are expected to begin around 11:00 a.m.

The golf selection on the Grey Eagles registration form is simply an indication of your interest in playing golf. When you register, select the day or days you would like to play. No golf payment is made to Grey Eagles at this time, and the $85 golf fee is not included in your reunion registration payment.

After registration, Golf Coordinator Jay Cooley will coordinate the golf arrangements, including player pairings, tee times, payment, and transportation. Jay will contact those who have indicated an interest in playing with the details and instructions for completing their golf arrangements.

Before You Register

Club rentals are available for an additional charge.
Selecting Golf on the registration form does not require payment to Grey Eagles. It simply indicates your desire to play and identifies which day(s) you would like to participate.
The $85 golf fee is collected separately by Golf Coordinator Jay Cooley, not through the Grey Eagles reunion registration.
Jay Cooley will coordinate pairings, tee times, payment, and transportation.

Farewell Banquet

Registration Required

Activity Price: $95 per person

Bring the week to a memorable close with our Grey Eagles Farewell Banquet. This special evening will give us one more opportunity to gather together, share stories, enjoy a great dinner, and celebrate the friendships that make the Grey Eagles such a special organization.

The evening will begin with Happy Hour, including two complimentary drink tickets for each attendee, followed by a cash bar. Dinner will feature your choice of two carefully selected entrées, followed by DJ music and dancing. Whether you want to take to the dance floor or simply relax and enjoy the company of fellow Grey Eagles, the evening is designed to be a fun and fitting finale to our Savannah Reunion.

Dinner Selections

Stuffed Chicken Breast
Stuffed with burrata and herbs, served with lemon balm crispy potatoes and a butternut squash purée. This entrée combines a tender chicken breast with a creamy, herb-filled stuffing and flavorful seasonal accompaniments.

Sliced Bistro Filet
Tender sliced bistro filet served with Parmesan au gratin potatoes and lemon-garlic broccolini. A classic steakhouse-style selection complemented by rich, creamy potatoes and fresh broccolini with bright lemon and garlic flavors.

Music & Dancing

After dinner, the celebration continues with DJ music and dancing. Enjoy some of your favorite music, visit with friends, and perhaps get out on the dance floor for a few songs. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, have some fun, and enjoy one last evening together before the reunion comes to an end.

Fees and Cancellation Charges

Registration fees are non-refundable. These fees fund the advance deposits that reserve our hotel, tours, and events, and the venues do not return them to the organization once committed.

Need to change your plans? Tour and event selections may be cancelled or changed at any time before the convention. Because the organization pays for tours in advance based on your reservations, a cancelled tour charge remains payable unless another attendee fills your spot — and our convention planner will do their best to make that happen. If your spot is filled and you've switched to a different tour, you'll simply pay or be refunded the difference in cost.

Ladies’ Champagne Luncheon (11A-1P)

Registration Required

Activity Price: $75 per person

Take a break from the reunion schedule and enjoy a relaxing Ladies’ Champagne Luncheon with fellow spouses and guests while the General Membership Meeting is in session. This is an opportunity to enjoy good food, conversation, and a little time together in a relaxed setting while the members attend to Grey Eagles business.

The luncheon is designed to be an enjoyable mid-day gathering where you can catch up with friends, meet other Grey Eagles spouses and guests, and share in the Savannah experience together. So sit back, raise a glass, and enjoy some well-deserved time with friends.

Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum & Grey Eagles Night (2P-8:30P)

Registration Required

Activity Price: $125 per person (Museum & Dinner) or $115 per person (Dinner Only)

Enjoy a docent-led museum tour, personal exploration, Happy Hour, dinner, and our featured guest speaker.

Explore Savannah Your Way

Included

Not every moment of the reunion needs to be scheduled. We’ve intentionally built free time into the reunion schedule so you can enjoy Savannah at your own pace and choose what interests you most.

Use your Old Town Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley pass to explore the Historic District, browse the shops, discover historic squares and landmarks, enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner, or simply wander the beautiful streets of Savannah. Whether you want to explore, shop, dine, sightsee, or just relax, this is your time to enjoy Savannah your way.

Before You Register

No registration is required.
Your trolley pass is valid on any two days and does not need to be used on consecutive days.
The reunion schedule intentionally provides free time on arrival day and Saturday to make it easy to use your trolley pass and explore Savannah.

Crosswinds Golf Club (11A)

Registration Required

Activity Price: $85 per golfer

Golf is available Saturday, Sunday, or both days. Tee times are expected to begin around 11:00 a.m.

Before You Register

Club rentals are available for an additional charge.
Selecting Golf on the registration form simply indicates your interest in participating. Your golf fee is not charged as part of your reunion registration and will be collected separately by Golf Coordinator Jay Cooley.
Jay Cooley will coordinate pairings, payment, and transportation.

Registration Required

Activity Price: $85 per golfer

For those who would like to get out on the course during the reunion, golf will be available at Crosswinds Golf Club on Saturday, Sunday, or both days. Tee times are expected to begin around 11:00 a.m.

The golf selection on the Grey Eagles registration form is simply an indication of your interest in playing golf. When you register, select the day or days you would like to play. No golf payment is made to Grey Eagles at this time, and the $85 golf fee is not included in your reunion registration payment.

After registration, Golf Coordinator Jay Cooley will coordinate the golf arrangements, including player pairings, tee times, payment, and transportation. Jay will contact those who have indicated an interest in playing with the details and instructions for completing their golf arrangements.

Farewell Banquet (6P-10P)

Registration Required

Activity Price: $95 per person

Bring the week to a memorable close with our Grey Eagles Farewell Banquet. This special evening will give us one more opportunity to gather together, share stories, enjoy a great dinner, and celebrate the friendships that make the Grey Eagles such a special organization.

The evening will begin with Happy Hour, including two complimentary drink tickets for each attendee, followed by a cash bar. Dinner will feature your choice of two carefully selected entrées, followed by DJ music and dancing. Whether you want to take to the dance floor or simply relax and enjoy the company of fellow Grey Eagles, the evening is designed to be a fun and fitting finale to our Savannah Reunion.

Dinner Selections

Stuffed Chicken Breast
Stuffed with burrata and herbs, served with lemon balm crispy potatoes and a butternut squash purée. This entrée combines a tender chicken breast with a creamy, herb-filled stuffing and flavorful seasonal accompaniments.

Sliced Bistro Filet
Tender sliced bistro filet served with Parmesan au gratin potatoes and lemon-garlic broccolini. A classic steakhouse-style selection complemented by rich, creamy potatoes and fresh broccolini with bright lemon and garlic flavors.

Music & Dancing

After dinner, the celebration continues with DJ music and dancing. Enjoy some of your favorite music, visit with friends, and perhaps get out on the dance floor for a few songs. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, have some fun, and enjoy one last evening together before the reunion comes to an end.
